Megan Hughes founded Willow Oak on January 14, 2019. She is a mama of two, CPA and you can find her at home constantly decluttering and redesigning her home. She is passionate about helping small businesses and watching them grow and achieves their goals.
Courtney Hughes

Director of HR
Courtney joined Willow Oak in 2020 and provides HR Consulting services to our Clients. She is passionate about leadership, effective processes, and strong communication and believes these 3 things can really set a company apart. She lives with her husband and son and spends her free time finding new plant-based recipes to try.

Carrie Johnston

Lead Bookkeeper
Carrie joined Willow Oak in June of 2020 and brings over 10 years of bookkeeping experience. She was raised in Ladner, BC but recently moved to the Okanagan-Similkameen. Carrie and her family love being outside, spending time at lakes, rivers and creeks. She likes to cook, bake and enjoys living a healthy active life. She keeps busy with her three young kids, animals and acreage!
Bethan Hughes

Bookkeeper
Based out of Vancouver with a BBA in Entrepreneurial Leadership and a background in hospitality, Bethan uses her expertises to keep client accounts organized and up to date on all financial transactions. Learning about new industries from the breadth of different clients is what she finds most interesting about working at Willow Oak Business Consulting. On a personal front, one of her favorite parts about the Willow Oak team culture is that there is always an emphasis on learning and becoming more intentional with the way of living and contributing to society. Listening to podcasts, traveling, trying new recipes and thrifting are some of Bethan’s favorite pastimes.
